Job Detail

As a NewChannel Client Services Consultant, I worked with an assigned group of customers and was responsible for the implementation, training and ongoing technical support of the NewChannel application service.

The primary function of the Client Services Consultant was to provide post sales support to customers. This role called for a candidate with proven troubleshooting skills who was able to  be part of a team responsible for providing timely and effective technical support to all NewChannel customers by analyzing, isolating and resolving complex software, hardware and operational issues.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage application implementation process
  • Conduct onsite customer training
  • Diagnose and resolve all customer technical and product related issues
  • Manage trouble ticket escalation and resolution
  • Document customer calls, support incidents and resolution in customer tracking system
  • Ensure effective customer communication, keeping customers informed of status of issues until a resolution is found
  • Provide cross-training and share technical information with other members of the Client Services team
  • Provide initial and ongoing communication of support process and procedure
  • Support Sales Account Management with customer data analysis

Requirements & Ideal Professional Profile

  • Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data and research, diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively explain functionality of systems to customers
  • Solid organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met
  • 3+ years high-tech experience
  • Experience in an ASP support environment required
  • Bachelorís degree
